French speaking HR Generalist - Banking experience essential
Description/Skills This individual will be responsible for supporting the London office and the aforementioned branches, with the support of an administrator in London and the Swiss HR based team. Key Skills & Responsibilities: Partner with all levels of employees to provide generalist support that is aligned with the business initiatives. Create reports in Excel, analyse data and make recommendations on key issues and next steps for special projects, e.g. turnover reporting, compensation analysis, onboarding surveys. Develop, support and communicate policies and procedures. Work closely with legal, compliance, facilities and technology on changes. Work with employees and managers to provide advice and counsel on a variety of employee relations matters, including interpersonal relationship and communication challenges, development and ongoing performance management. Lead employee orientation Perform investigations for employee relations matters when appropriate. Work closely with the Training Department to design training programs as needed as well as make recommendations to these programs. Lead and participate in global projects to support HR initiatives. Research and present industry best practices. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree Fluent in French essential (both written and verbal) Must have worked within the private banking or asset management industry 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist or business partner role Proven ability to diagnose problems with strategic thinking skills, as well as drive appropriate solutions with tactical actions Strong data analysis skills and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Strong project management skills Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence and coach employees of all levels in the organisation Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of both business and HR teams Must be able to operate in a changing environment and be able to manage ambiguity Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate HR and business strategies Resilient and able to thrive in a fast paced environment with a high level of energy and sense of humour Reporting Line: The London HR Generalist will report into the Global Head of Human Resources
