THE COMPANY
Expanding global automotive industry. This is a very exciting opportunity to build on a formal Audit Accountancy background in the commercial world
LANGUAGES: Fluent French and Fluent English
TRAVEL INVOLVED: 70% UK based with approx 30% international travel to France
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
classic audit role and compliance role
Audit
1. checking that internal compliance and risk management is constantly audited and checked
2. participate in regional audits and work to deadlines
3. responding to requests for assistance in Europe and Africa audits
4. liaise with external audit firms at year end
5. use of audit software
6. report on all audit findings and all follow-up of audit plans
7. general project management : dealing with various ad hoc audit related projects in French and English
Compliance
8. ensuring that internal financial systems of control are working properly at all times
9. to support Sarbanes-Oxley projects and general compliance
10. report writing and suggesting enhancements to compliance process
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Fluent French
• Knowledge of Sarbanes –Oxley
• Formal audit qualification ( ACA/CIMA qualified)
• Audit experience gained in a commercial setting
