Nicole Debson | Founder & Director
Nicole founded ABL 20 years ago after having previously worked for a specialist international secretarial agency. A francophone with a knowledge of Spanish and Arabic, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in French & Economics and a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management from the London School of Economics.

James Munro| Director
After two years in recruitment James became ABL’s first employee in 1992 when he was recruited to set up the company’s temp desk. James’ expertise lies in the banking and finance industry. A director since 1995, he graduated from Goldsmiths College with a Bachelor’s Degree in French.

Charles Russell | Director
Charles joined ABL shortly after James and became a director in 1997. Half-Spanish, he has lived in Switzerland, France, Germany and Denmark and speaks Spanish and French fluently. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance & Economics from the University of East Anglia and a Masters in Human Resources from the University of Westminster.

Matthew Curley | Principal Consultant
Matthew was hired by ABL in 2004 having previously recruited for the property and construction industries. Apart from recruitment Matthew also takes care of ABL’s marketing and social media strategy. He graduated from the University of Liverpool with a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern History & Politics.

Maria Donoghue | Senior Recruitment Consultant
After a short period working for a competitor Maria joined ABL in 2007 and now heads up the translation and interpreting desk. A native of the Basque Country Maria is fluent in Basque and Spanish. She graduated with a Master’s degree in English Philology and a Master’s degree in International Trade from the University of Deusto, Spain.

Ridha Ben Abdeljelil | Finance Manager
A Tunisian with fluent French and Arabic, Ridha graduated from the University of Economics, Management & Law, Tunisia with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s in Economics and Management. He settled in the UK 10 years ago and is responsible for ABL’s accounts, temp payroll, and all financial matters.
